What do we do for our daily Calendar Time?

We start each day with group time which includes our calendar activities. Here is what our “calendar area” looks like and some of our activities:

1. Prayer: We start the day with these prayers. Each day one of my students will be my prayer helper and he or she will come next to me and show everyone how to pray.

We put our hands together... 
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen
Jesus, Jesus, I love you so, that I offer you my day.
Jesus, Jesus, help me be good at school, at home and when I play.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

I love you Jesus, I love you Mary, I love you mummy and daddy, and all the teachers in the school, especially the mummies who are going to have a baby (we throw kisses to Mary's image as we pray)
